Overview/description

.......what is this core competency referring to? Describe how it links in with the Digiteen Area of Awareness.
This website is related to my Core Competency Area/ Digital Citizenship Perspective: Teacher, because people and friends could post silly pictures on the internet and think its funny until they notice it is really not right to post. But when you go to delete that picture it may not be really deleted the website might be keeping it. That can really happen so be careful of what you do or post on line.

Examples

.....Provide real examples from your school, country or from your research of how this norm and the Digiteen element impact on each other. These can be in the form of an image with text, a podcast, a short video, interviews etc.
  • You have to remember to put what you want people to see on the internet because even if you deleted the old pictures the company can keep them up to 3 months for people to see.
  • Some networks have admitted that they have been keeping photos that people have been deleted for a long period of tme.
  • The company might be keeping multiple copies of your picture.
  • Over all someone is deleting pictures off the internet and is ruining technical privacy.[1]
